Asher Bracelets

In May 2011, Ward Asher Elrod was born with Hydrocephalus. He immediately underwent lifesaving surgery, and is thriving and growing and being a boy. He is a miracle. You can read his story by clicking on his name.

In July 2011, Shannon travelled to Uganda to minister and give a life-saving surgery to a baby with Hydrocephalus. The same procedure that saved Ward's life saved the life of a sweet baby girl in Uganda.

You see, in Uganda, Hydrocephalus is believed to be a curse, and the only way to break that curse is to drown the baby in the river. The procedure that Shannon brought a baby girl in Uganda saved her from the river.

Now Ward's mother and aunt are on a mission to save more babies from the river.

And you can help.

Asher bracelets, named in honor of Ward, are for sale! They are $12 each, and the proceeds are used to help pay for another surgery for another baby suffering with Hydrocephalus.

The bracelets are beautiful in sets of 3 or 5, and they come in a variety of colors. They make a perfect gift (what a story to share with the recipient!) or a beautiful accessory on your own arm.

If you are interested in purchasing an Asher bracelet (or 3), visit this site.

Ward loves his Asher Bracelet, and he knows you'll love yours, too!
